Did you know that if you pay Arizona state income taxes, you can make a contribution to Young Life Capernaum and lower your Arizona state tax liability?
Young Life Capernaum is an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization and contributions to Young Life Capernaum are eligible for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit (formerly known as the Working Poor Tax Credit). This tax credit for Young Life Capernaum is separate from the Foster Care tax credit and separate from the School tax credits. They all have their own individual credit limits. A taxpayer may make contributions to all of the eligible types of tax credits if they desire. Consult your tax professional.
Arizona law allows QCO donations made during 2023 or donations made from January 1, 2024 through April 15, 2024 to be claimed on the 2023 Arizona income tax return. Married taxpayers can reduce their taxes by up to $841; single and head of household taxpayers can reduce their taxes by up to $421.
If a taxpayer makes a QCO donation from January 1, 2024 through April 15, 2024 and wants to claim the higher 2024 maximum credit amount, the taxpayer will need to claim the credit on the 2024 Arizona return filed in 2025. The maximum QCO credit donation amount for 2024: $470, single, married filing separate or head of household; $938 married filing joint.
Our Arizona QCO code for the state tax credit is 20894
